A Christmas cake wish

This year…

The fruit has soaked overnight


My ancient recipe …I’ve made a variation of the same Nigel Slater Christmas cake since 1997

All the kids have been phoned, and now you can make a wish on the Christmas cake too ❤️❤️❤️

My arms ache, so this year the Mister spooned the mixture into the tin. Now sitting with a cuppa the house is begining to smell like Christmas.
