I learned storytelling with four year olds. Trust me, if you can’t hold the attention of a four year old there’ll be a riot, with pushing and shoving and snot and tears.

I’ve perfomed my work to all ages at libraries, festivals, galleries and schools.

As well as bookstores and galleries, I’ve permomed my work at the House of Commons. I’ve bought CHOPSY to women’s charites, the civil service and The Hay Festival. Discussing working class life, feminism, male violence and being a working class writer, I am an experienced speaker and I’m available for public speaking events.

With over twenty years experience working with young people I have written and run a number of writing workshops. From one off sessions to 10 week courses I’ve worked with kids, young people and adults, from beginners to more experienced writers.
